Structural hollow sections
Structural hollow with circular cross section are a significant part of all types of steel constructions in the industry and in the construction business. Structural hollow sections that are of a common diameter are produced using the hot rolling process.
Tubes of small diameters and tubes used in the construction business having thick wall are produced using the cold drawing process with a subsequent heat treatment.

| Specific (steels J2H, NH,NLH) test (obligatory) only: | cast analysis, test analysis, impact test, tube surface (visual examination), dimensions, NDT of weld. |
Structural hollow sections surface protection
While ordering, it is necessary to agree upon the method and means of temporarily protecting the surface of the tubes during transportation and storiage.

Deburring applies to:
- Tube OD: 26,7 – 114,3 mm
- Tube WT: 3,2 – 12,5 mm
- Tube lengths: 4 – 13 m
- Deburring angle, α (alpha): 30°+5°, 37,5°±2,5°
- Dimension, c: 1,6 ± 0,8 mm
Packaging of the structural hollow sections
(a) tubes bound with a steel band,
(b) tubes wrapped in plastic sheets, burlap,
(c) tubes in wooden crates.
Structural hollow sections are supplied in packages with a circular or hexagonal outline with a weight of 300 to 3 500 kg
Marking of structural hollow sections and tube bundles
(a) without marking,
(b) marked with colored stripes on the tubes (tube bundles),
(c) marked with spray either by a white or black color using InkJet,
(d) marked by stamping the data (this applies to OD > 22 mm and WT >2.3 mm).
Bundles of tubes are marked with one or more labels with the required data.
